WOW ! What a great evening at the Brookside Country Club on Friday 12-7. About 50 Rotarians, their families and friends gathered to celebrate the holidays in the Swan Room with all of its decorations and a fire in the fireplace. The Weber group got near the fire.
President Jeanne Shipe and her able committee members arranged for a warm environment, a great setting and a wide selection of marvelous things to eat. The club staff delivered our adult beverages, we had some wonderful appetizers, and we mingled and talked and laughed.
And we were entertained with some lovely vocals and guitar music be Seth Witcher, son of Rotarian Ralph and Patricia Witcher. Seth provided the perfect background music for this holiday party.
Ron Coleman was wearing his most festive outfit for the season. This included his hat with the lights flashing Hello.
One of many highlights of the evening was having Shawn Fejes and family with us for the evening. The baby was wonderfully behaved and is our youngest Rotarian.
Bob Gordon helped with this picture taking, and he posed for a few. This one includes Andrea, our Youth Exchange student from Croatia.

Becky and Dale Heffner along with Halyna Stegura were part of the party. The Heffners are going to Alaska on the 19th to see their son and family. Halyna just returned from Florida where she was with her Daughter, Mary, buying Mary a town house.
The dinner was a fabulous buffet with salads, veggies, three entrees and desserts came later. Nobody left hungry.
The Blechschmidts are hosting Andrea right now. They make a happy family.

As we left this delightful celebration, the Heffners stopped at the fantastic Christmas tree in the main reception area of the club.
