Our Greeter today was Arch Klumph, and he did a great job. President Dan Crane rang the bell at 7:30 a.m. We sang the National Anthem, and we said the Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. Flag. Then Pastor Jean Masiko gave a very nice invocation.
President Dan reminded us of the word from the country………..

The Yvette Palmer Purple Pinkie 5K Race is on October 22nd and Runners and Walkers are asked to sign up. There are enough volunteers now
President Dan asks that we remember Rotarian Arch Klumph who actually started the RI Foundation with a donation of $26.5 almost 100 years ago. During this Rotary year each of us is asked to donate at least $26.50 to the RI Foundation. Our replica of Arch is available to join these donors at breakfast.
Next week the scheduled Greeter is Jeff Kistler and the program is a Fellowship Networking Meeting by Ginny and Dan.

Then Jeff Kistler ’s ticket was drawn and he was unable to select the black marble to win the $50 of the 50:50 pot.

• Jeanne Shipe for a safe time and good return trip from Orlando during Hurricane Matthew. Enjoyed time in the theme parks because of low attendance.
• President Dan on becoming a grandparent to baby Stella (3lbs. 10oz.) at St. Luke's in Bethlehem. Stella decided to come earlier than expected and is keeping Donna really busy as a new grandmother.
• Ralph Witcher gave several happy dollars for: liking a lot of things others said and the birth of Stella on his daughter, Brittany's birthday.
• Mitch Huston told one of his usually sarcastic jokes -- followed by Mike Henry adding one about Mitch. Both worth less than $1.
• Wendy Weaver gave a promising report on her niece's improving condition while she is rehabilitating at Good Shepherd Center.
• Dan also paid "mucho" fines for forgetting a lot of things over the past few days.
• Dottie Bloom reminded the group not to forget about the Meals on Wheels delivery for November 11 (Veteran's Day). She also mentioned that those delivering will now need state clearances to volunteer.
PROGRAM:
Our program today was a Tempting Taste 3 Project Meeting with an overview of the Responsibility Matrix (Team Leaders). Gwenn Carr and Gary Englehardt reviewed the matrix and asked each team leader to request assistance from the members with their area of responsibility for the event.

• Joe Goll, Geoff Legg and Ralph Witcher taking on the lead for getting Event Sponsors
• Mitch Huston taking on the lead for the Marketing Team

Gwenn reviewed the distributed portfolio which contains the reservation form, forms for donating to the silent and live auctions, sponsorship forms and program advertising commitments and deadlines.
