Our Greeter today was Tim Rushton. President Dan Crane rang the bell to open the meeting at 7:30 a.m. Then Rev. Jeff Kistler gave a very nice invocation.
Then the assembled voices sang a good rendition of our National Anthem. And we said the pledge of Allegiance.
President Dan says the word from the country is “Just do the best you can. No one can do more than that.’ SAID John Wooden.

President Dan showed many slides of photographs from our Parkland HS meeting with their Interact Club and the Student of the Month. Then there was Gloria’s picture of the Food Pantry’s Produce. Then he covered the Thursday evening 3-23 Easter Egg filling project, which then went to the Friday evening 3-24 Dining Out at the Carmel Kitchen.
Dan showed pics from the Tuesday evening Charter Night Dinner for the new Whitehall Area RC. Herb presented the club with a banner from the new club. And he described the party. See separate article.
TT3 WALKTHROUIGH MARCH 31st:
The TT3 Walk Through at the Holiday Inn is FRIDAY March 31st.
We will meet at the Holiday Inn for the walkthrough at 8:00 AM. Gary and Gwenn will be there before that for breakfast. They encourage anyone interested to join them for the Walkthrough or the breakfast.
You do not need to be a team member to attend.
TEMPTING TASTES 3:
Gwenn Carr says: We have 16 Food Partners scheduled for the event. We have fabulous gifts included in our Live Auction including Getaways, a propane grill and a chance to have the Blue Mountain Winery deck for an afternoon.

MEMBERSHIP:
District 7430 Membership Chair, Past President Herb Klotz asks all AW members to make another push to bring new members in. There are Mixers scheduled for April, May and June. We want to have a net increase in headcount by June 30th again this Rotary year.
Herb notes that using Facebook works quite well.

Our next THURSDAY EVENING event is a Mixer on April 13th at the 1760 House Pub ~n~ Grille, Trexlertown from 5:30-7:00PM.
April 8th Dennis Houser is leading a work detail in Ontelaunee Park.
April 29th is the Parkland Community Resource day and Ray Stock needs volunteers to staff the info table.
The annual Engineers Without Borders fundraiser is on April 30th.at DeSales University. AW Rotarians are supporters of EWB.
May 6 Farm Fest at Ontelaunee Park. We need some volunteers to work a booth that day. Hours are from 10:30-6:30. If you can work a morning or afternoon shift please contact Ginny.
Dennis Houser on May 20th will lead a work group at the Rodale Cycling Center..
AND, of course, you always can have your breakfast at our meetings sitting with Arch Klumph for a donation of $26.50 --- or more --- to the Rotary Foundation.

LUCK of the DRAW:
The door prize donated by Tim Rushton was won by Jeanne Shipe.
Then Dale Hostetter’s ticket was drawn and he selected a white marble and did not win the $115 pot of the 50:50. Only 4 marbles remain.
FINES:
S-a-A Don Davis fined Mitch Huston for no badge and no pin. And he fined Halyna Stegura for signing in on the wrong line.
HAPPY DOLLARS:
Wendy Weaver is ecstatic that her niece Heather walked without a walker for the first time. She asks for continued prayers.
Halyna Stegura is happy that Herb and the charter party were on TV CH69 Tuesday evening.
Then we all put in a dollar in recognition of the outstanding job by Herb Klotz in planning and implementing the Tuesday evening Charter Dinner.
Bill Weber said he is proud of AW Rotarians and thanks Herb.
Bob Gordon now is a Grandfather. Congrats, Bob.
Sue Weber says it’s good to be back from Hilton Head, and that those Rotarians say “Hello.”
Jeanne Shipe now is one year free of the Lyme disease she had.
Herb is happy that Mr. Sulaiman Sengeh who is the principal of the Centennial School in Sierra Leone will be at the Engineers Without Borders event on April 30th.
Herb said that on March 30th at 6 PM on Radio station WDIY there will be an interview of Al Ottinger and Herb about EWB.
PROGRAM:
President Dan designated today as a Fellowship meeting to promote extra conversations among the members. The goal is to get to know each other even more.
To get things started Dan showed a video of James Cagney doing a great dance routine, followed by Bob Hope dancing, and then the two of them. What fabulous performers they were.
So for 20 minutes we sat and talked to each other and it was very worthwhile. Thank you, Dan.
