Our greeter today was A. J. Henry along with co-greeter, Arch Klumph.
We again sang the Star Spangled Banner along with Kristina Garcia-Santiago doing American Sign Language and then recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Visiting Guests and Rotarians: Ronnee Klotz (because she wasn’t yet inducted!!), Adrienne Klotz, Will Banks, our guest; Steve LaPierre and Bob Halsey of the Emmaus RC.
And we had with us “Marti” our Youth Exchange Student from Argentina.
New Member Induction:
Ronnee Klotz was inducted as an active member of AWRC. Chuck Ehninger conducted the official ceremony. Welcome Ronnee!!

Herb Klotz won the door prize (breakfast) and then picked Geoff Legg’s ticket for the 50-50 drawing. Geoff managed to pick the elusive black marble and won the $130 pot!!

Happy Dollars:
Bill Palmer’s granddaughter is a Freshman at Penn State, Harrisburg and has joined the Rotaract Club.
Herb Klotz had a Happy Dollar for daughter Adrienne visiting, and $10 for Ronnee joining the club.
Ginny Sandoval had a Happy Dollar for Y.E. student Marti visiting and because they will be going into NYC on the weekend.
Jeanne Shipe had a Happy Dollar because she made it through a Tax Free Income Strategy seminar in Atlanta.
Program:
Today’s program featured a Classification Talk by John L. Scott – Senior Branch Manager, Vice President at PNC bank (Macungie).
John may be the senior branch manager, Vice President at PNC bank, but he also is known in some parts with his title leading you to believe, he is "The Banker of the World".
John has worked in every position in a bank setting. He is a non-profit guru, and National Park junkie. In his spare time he enjoys Star Trek binges, fine cheese, and electric sport cars.
He hopes to, one day, be able to sleep past 7am, explore amateur wine making, and ensure that one day everyone has a fundamental understanding of their finances.
John showed several pictures of his family (Addysen, Whitman and Mercedes) at various State Parks. John also loves to take pictures.
John’s favorite parks are Yosemite and one in New Mexico. He has been to the Grand Canyon 6 times and is hoping to get there one more time in the snow!!
John also is a Freemason.
