ROTARIANS OF THE YEEAR AWARD:
Gwenn and Gary Englehardt were declared the Rotarians of the tear by Past President, Herb Klotz to great applause.
PERFECT ATTENDACE AWARD pins were given out by Joe Goll, with Georg e Ikeda at 38 years and Ernie Boll at 46 years,
Goodbye Miska.
Lots of hugs, some tears, some gifts exchanged and many photos were taken. We all will miss dear Miska and look forward to her prompt return. Fare well, friend.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Note that with the new Rotary year we began a new approach to our monthly collections to help fund the fresh produce for the Food Pantry. There now is a labeled jar at registration to be used. And periodically we will be reminded to continue to support this great effort.
July 20th and 21st are the next volunteer days for the Lowhill Food Pantry. Volunteers are needed for the 21sr.
The next Thursday evening Happy Hour meeting at the Holiday Inn is TOMORROW July 14th. There will be more planning done for the October 22nd D7430 Purple pinkie 5K race that we manage.
July 28th -- THURSDAY -- In place of our Happy Hour meeting will be our full club monthly Dining Out at Italiano Delite in Macungie.
August 14th a Sunday is the annual AWRC Picnic at the Webers’ farm. Mark your calendars. Details from Sue will follow.
Tuesday August 16th is the multi-district PHILLIES STRIKE OUT HUNGER baseball game. $10 of every ticket sold goes to the RI Annual Fund. Buy tickets and use them or give them to a group of worthy kids to use. Some RCs hire a bus and party both ways.
Next week the scheduled Greeter is Ronnee Klotz and the program is Clay Smith Joe Facchiano, Community Partners 4Kids re Keeping Kids Safe in a High Tech World.

President Dan and Fundraising committee Chair Len Salines are looking for fresh ideas for a new fundraiser for later in the year. The Pig Roast this Summer was cancelled. Please respond to the handout sheets on your table last week.
LUCK of the DRAW:
Today’s door prize donated by Wendy Weaver was a bottle of wine and was won by Bill Weber. Then Stan Drabick won the right to draw a marble for the $30 50:50 pot and did not win.

Herb Klotz now has displayed over 400 Rotary banners for is, and will continue to do so.
David Caccese is pleased that his 17 year old son is on his way to tour Europe. David also had a birthday.
PROGRAM:
Our program today was Scott Gingold, President, Lehigh Valley Technology whose topic is “Does Cyber Security Really Impact me?”
Scott did a great job explaining how nothing we do about our PCs, smart phones, web sites, et al really is 100% safe. We need to change passwords frequently, and be very careful ab0ut opening attachments, if ever.
There was more, however your scribe has some vision issues and cut short this narrative.
CLOSING:
We sang a rendition of “God Bless America” Then we recited the Pledge to the Flag of the United States and then the saying “One profits most who serves the best.”
