Our Greeter today was to have been Joel Masiko and he does a marvelous job.
President Dan Crane usually rings the bell at 7:30 a.m. Then a member gives a very nice invocation.
Today we did not sang the National Anthem nor did we .
say the pledge of Allegiance.
President Dan will tell us the word from the country next week.

Gwenn Carr said that volunteers are needed to work at the event, including with Dorothy Bloom at Registration.

Dan continues to e-mail us an updated list of volunteer opportunities and future events.
GINNY SEZ:
Service Project- assisting Miracle League with Easter event for special needs kids. We are collecting small individually wrapped candies, or small non-food items like stickers, to fill plastic Easter eggs. Also larger items can be donated to serve as raffle prizes. Deadline for donations is next Wednesday, March 13. The
March 23 THURSDAY evening meeting at the Holiday Inn will be an Easter egg stuffing party. Come help us with this project.
May 6 Farm Fest at Ontelaunee Park. We need some volunteers to work a booth that day. Hours are from 10:30-6:30. If you can work a morning or afternoon shift please contact Ginny.
OFFSITE MEETING:
REMEMBER that our NEXT Wednesday morning regular meeting on March 22nd will take place in the Parkland High School Library.
The Interact Club there is large, and along with their advisor, Mrs. Kathryn Solderitch, will be the program that day. Please show them our support, and come to the meeting. It's always rewarding to meet these interesting young people.
Be sure to tell Dan if you will be there.

March DINING OUT will be at 6:00 P.M. on March 24th at Carmel Kitchen in Allentown. A signup sheet is going around. Please e-mail Ronnee Klotz or Jean Machamer in order to register.
March 28th is the Charter Event for the Whitehall Area Club. The cost will be $25. There are currently 19 people signed up as new members. Location is Fellowship Community in Whitehall. No alcohol is available.
Let’s have a great turnout in support of our new “Sister” RC that we sponsor.
A Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) meeting is scheduled for April 1st in Media. President Dan says it is good stuff.
April 8th Dennis Houser is leading a work detail in Ontelaunee Park.
April 29th is the Parkland Community Resource day and Ray Stock needs volunteers to staff the info table.
The annual Engineers Without Borders (EWB) fundraiser is on April 30th.
Dennis Houser on May 20th will lead a work group at the Rodale Cycling Genter.
AND, of course, you always can have your breakfast at our meetings sitting with Arch Klumph for a donation of $26.50 --- or more --- to the Rotary Foundation.
