Challenges facing the City of Allentown

Vicky Kistler, MEd, is the Director of Community and Economic Development for the City of Allentown.  

Vicky was born and raised in the city of Allentown. She attended Bloomsburg University and Lehigh University and after working at a local hospital and a local homeless shelter,  landed at the City of Allentown where Vicky was the Communicable Disease Manager at the Allentown Health Bureau for 14 years, the Director of Health for 15 years and then the DCED Director for the past year and a half. She loves Allentown and is excited about anything Allentown! It’s a great place to live, work and play!
