          This hand embroidered suede bag was purchased in Malaysia.  It’s embroidered on both sides.  The colors are very rich.  The bag was donated by Amir Famili.

THURSDAY  FEBRUARY 14th
MEETING  NOTES
 
 
Nine Rotarians gathered for fellowship in the Holiday Inn Pub including:
Randy Beitler, Dottie Bloom, Amir Famili,  Barbara Kistler, Jeffrey Kistler
Ronnee Klotz, Jean Machamer, Jeanne Shipe,  and Ralph Witcher
 
The meeting formally began in the restaurant area with a repeating of the 4-Way Test and pledge to the flag. 
 
Door prizes were won by Dottie and Randy with a Valentine's theme donated by Jeanne Shipe. Happy dollars were shared. 
 
President Jeanne reviewed the calendar and upcoming opportunities.  Members could ask questions about the club.  A Valentine’s Day cookie decorating activity organized by Barbara gave members a sweet treat and a chance for more fellowship informally.

  •  Strategic Planning ahead this Spring
  • Look for website and social media upgrades; Thanks Marlene.
  • Sergeant-at-Arms Team being created to help with streamline room setup, greeting and schmoozing.
  • Maybe we will have a great Outbound Exchange Student this year.
  • At TT5 we will add ShelterBox and Meals on Wheels as opportunities to  “Fund-a-Cause”
  • New Grants to consider:
              Peace Building in West Africa with Emmaus RC
              Parkland Cares, new Food Pantry setup
              Meals on Wheels new Coolers  and heated portable Containers

FOUNDATION GALA IS COMING:
The annual D7430 Foundation Gala will be held on Saturday March 23rd at the Pottstown Brookside CC. It is a costume event for those who wish to do so.

The next one is the Dining Out at Tacos & Tequila on February 28th.
 
RLI  MARCH 30th:
Rotary Leadership Institute training is on March 30th at the Radisson in King of Prussia.
 
NEXT  MEETING:
February 27th. Our Greeter will be Jean Masiko. Our program is Dr Nichola Gutgold, PhD, discussing Women and Leadership.
