Slow down, July! What's your rush?

Gail Micca
member photo
Is your July flying by as fast as mine? Before you know it, we will be picnicking with the Weber’s, serving up hotdogs at the National Night Out at Covered Bridge Park, and depending on the collective spirit of hotdogging – we may even generate some fundraising and fun at the Drum Corps International event. This is all happening so fast and it’s going to be a blast. Serving alongside you in any capacity is always a good time. Please look for an email with the Sign-up Genius to find a time that works for you.

What’s better than summertime, picnics and grilling with Rotarians?

There are also plenty of opportunities to serve at the garden, especially in this dry heat. Early morning watering is relaxing and listening to the beautiful sounds of birds singing is an extra treat. The Sign-up Genius for the garden will also be mailed out and available on our website and Facebook page. Invite your friends to join you.  Tell them what we are doing, plan to help with a harvest, too, and see the bounty our garden is producing constantly. Beware – service is addictive!

Stay cool and see you soon!

GAS IS HOW MUCH?!

If the cost of gas has you thinking about buying a horse, consider carpooling to our weekly meetings and to service projects! It may get worse before it gets better, so don't let the cost of gas keep you from being an active Rotarian.
