CHRISTMAS PARTY 2017
AW Rotarians and family enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of happy and upbeat friendship and fun at Bravo Cucina Italiana at the Lehigh Valley Mall on Sunday afternoon, December 3rd. There were 33 of us that laughed, talked, and enjoyed each other, and even imbibed some adult beverages.
There was a lot of red clothing to see to celebrate the Season. But the Award for the best costume went to Ron Coleman with his fabulous Santa outfit and one of his famous hats -- this one had lights that glowed.
President Mike Gschwendtner welcomed us all to get things started. We were blessed with two Reverends, Bob Machamer and Jeff Kistler in our party today. Rev. Bob gave a very timely and happy prayer for the group.
The fabulous repast started with a salad course brought to each table, along with bread and butter. Then we took turns and walked the buffet line to fill our plates with various tasty Italian foods including, potatoes, green beans, Shrimp Fra Diavolo and Grilled Chicken Marsala.
After we all had slowed down there was dessert and coffee, with two dessert choices -- carmel cheesecake, or chocolate lava cake. Nobody complained about anything. And the leftovers went home with some of us.
As the party quieted down Ronnee Klotz and Jean Machamer, our Entertainment Committee Co-Chairs, had tickets drawn and established six winners. Each took home a table centerpiece that included a candle to be used after the flowers were gone. Great idea, Ladies.
