VOTE UPDATE:
The results of the annual voting for our B.O.D. members for Rotary Year 2023-24 are held up due to a candidate change. There will be a new vote taken in January.

KINGDOM LIFE FOOD DISTRIBUTION:
Jean Masiko reports that special thanks go to Ron Coleman and Bill Keba for helping at Kingdom Life Family Center Food Bank for the December grocery giveaway.
There were a reported 300 plus families served that weekend. Bill is an almost new member and I'm very grateful that he was able to join us and hopefully will be a part of supporting this great cause going forward.
The dates for the next three KLFC Food Bank Giveaways are:
January 14 February 18 March 11
Each time we start at 7:30AM and usually are finished by 9:30AM.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY TOUR:
Amir Famili led a tour this morning through one of the new houses.
PROJECTS FOR GRANTS FOR 2022-23:
Please tell Pres. Gail your recommendations for special projects for which we can make Grant applications. Herb said we will have one for Sierra Leone too.
PARKLAND C.A.R.E.S. PRODUCE DELIVERY:
Pantry Day was December 17. Katrina Sundstrom reports that on a beautiful December morning Parkland CARES with the assistance of the community and Allentown West Rotarians, fed over 170 families. Each family went home with an abundance of food and hearts filled to celebrate the holiday season.

MEALS ON WHEELS:
The schedule for the next 4 months is set. Helen always needs substitutes.

The staff at the zoo could use some help during this festive time December 26 thru 30.
MEETING SCHEDULE:
Dec. 21st is a tour of one of the eight houses completed by Habitat construction volunteers. These houses will be occupied by their new owners by year end.
Dec. 28th there is NO MEETING. Enjoy the holidays.
Starting in January, the first Wednesday will be a Dining out meeting, or equal. It may not be on a Wednesday.
January 4: No meeting
January 5: The first zoom of the month will be replaced with our first dining out for 2023 which will be held at Cumin N Eat in the Dorneyville shopping center (3333 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA) at 6PM. Cumin N Eat serves delicious Indian Cuisine! Please RSVP to Herb Klotz by December 31.
