PRE-MEETING CONVERSATIONS:
PDG Bob Hobaugh said that he now has time to do some chores around his home.
Gail Micca showed the baskets they are making for the Casino Night.
Nick Millward was working with our speaker who is in Mongolia and cannot get on our Zoom call. John Scott can’t help; he is in Glacier National Park.
OPENING:
President Gail Micca started the meeting at 7:30 A.M.
Katrina Sundstrom gave a very nice invocation.
Ron Coleman led us in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the U.S.
Marlene Heller led us in the recitation of the Four-way Test, and added “Is it Fun?”

AWRC HOLUDAY PARTY:
Pres. Gail said that we are considering holding our annual Christmas party at Twin Lakes C.C. She showed a photo of the rehabbed area. The date being considered is Friday, Dec. 2nd.
YOUTH EXCHANGE STUDENT:
Jeanne Shipe said that they took Samuel to an IronPigs game which he enjoyed. His classes started this week.

GREEN THUMB GARDEN:
Our garden is giving us great produce to go to food pantries. Gail showed great photos of the recent produce harvested.
PARKLAND C.A.R.E.S.:
Katrina Sundstrom said that thus Saturday from 10 to 11 they will serve clients and can use some help.
KINGDOM LIFE FOOD BANK:
Ralph Witcher and Ron Coleman need more help, folks! Please sign up for the next event on Sept. 10.
CASINO NIGHT:
The next committee meeting will be on Sept 12.
They have many great prizes to award.
GIVE & GROW FUNDRAISER:
Katrina Sundstrom asked for support of this fundraiser at Eight Oaks Distillery on Sept.24 from 2 PM. There will be a cornhole tournament, and a silent auction too.
POLIO ERADICATION RUN / WALK:
The Lehigh Valley Passport RC is managing this district event which will be on October 15th.
9/11 HEROES RUN:
This will be on Sept 25 at Parkland H.S. Race starts at 2 P.M. Come early.
MULTI-CLUB MEMBERSHIP EVENT:
“Conversations Over Cornhole”, will happen on October 19th. It will be a cornhole tournament and get-together in Center Valley at the Stone Fam Cellars and Vineyards.
POLIO ERADICATION:
Carrington Smith described the activities planned for this year that replaces the Purple Pinkie event AWRC managed in prior years.
There will be non-competitive walks, runs and bike trips “On The Trails” in the Reading area. The Pottstown RC is managing the day. Registration is $40, and includes a lunch.
HAPPY DOLLARS:
Katrina Sundstrom is very happy that both of their children made the golf team this school year.

Our program will be Bolormaa Tumurbat, COO at Lantuun Dohio WHOSE TOPIC IS: United Against Child Abuse and Human Trafficking in Mongolia.
PROGRAM:
We had great difficulty in hooking up the guest speaker via zoom from Mongolia. So Nick gave us a link to use Google.
Nick Millward introduced Suvdaa Dep. Dist Rotaract Rep-Mongolia, to discuss Impactful Programs: Mongolian Rotaract Community + RID 3450 making the Difference.
She is a Communication specialist experienced in public engagement, campaign management, event organization and content production. Managing the Public Outreach Project with an annual budget of over US$300,000 approved by the Rio Tinto Group. Led various volunteering teams to serve communities and mentored students in the Oyu Tolgoi and the Rotary International Organization as a young professional.
She belongs to the Rotary International Organization Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Deputy District Rotaract Representative, D- 3450 from 7/2022 – Present.
• Responsible for representing Mongolian Rotaractors internationally and managing relationships with the district as well as the Rotary International leadership teams Rotary International Organization Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia President, Rotaract Club of Tsetsee Gung 7/2020 – 7/2021
• Upgraded the club activities and projects in line with the COVID-19 situation and successfully implemented projects to reduce the social and economic impact of the pandemic .

ROTARACT RISING ---
The “Rotaract Rising” initiative was proposed by 2018-19 Rotary President Barry Rassin
Rotaract’ s elevated status was approved by Rotary’s Council on Legislation in 2019 - as part of an ongoing effort to make Rotary more appealing & welcoming to young professionals.
Rotaract has been included as a type of RI’s membership, instead of part of Rotary programs; with more positive changes coming along the way.
Suvdaa closed with another video, and then answered some questions.
