Looking Forward to Spring!

Gail Micca
member photo
As February comes to a close and our theme of Peace and Conflict Resolution is at the top of our minds, we pray for all of those in the Ukraine  that peace can be restored swiftly and further violence will cease.

I’m also reflecting on the contributions our club members has made towards peace. The global projects, student exchanges and our newest Mongolia Connect “Third Neighbor Baseball” project are a few ways we work towards peace. In addition to world peace we also need to focus on the peace between all people, family, friends, neighbors and workmates, not to mention the person driving down the street who just cut you off. There is peace to be made everywhere we go.

I am especially humbled by the work and dedication of Nick Millward, our sponsored Peace Fellow.  I look forward to seeing his life unfold as he works diligently to build bonds, create peace and make the world a better place.  If you haven’t seen the District Project Showcase, please take a moment to view this now:
