Send Cards to Support the
Allentown West Rotary Club Foundation

Send a Thank You, Condolence, Congratulations, Thinking of You, In Honor of, In Memory of, or Just Because card and make a donation to the Allentown West Rotary Club Foundation at the same time.

Our new Tribute Cards are here and ready to send out! You fill in the reason for the card on the top lines and your name on the bottom lines, and mail it out. On the front is a beautiful photograph of a familiar farmhouse in the Lehigh Valley. Inside, recipients will see that the purchase of the card goes to fund the Foundation of our Rotary Club, and they are invited to learn more at our website. On the back is some information about Rotary and our areas of focus.

He named the month after Janus, the Roman god of doors and gates. Janus had two faces, one looking forward and one looking back. Caesar felt that a month named after this god would be fitting.

Non -Meeting Notes – December 29, 2021

There was no meeting today because of the Holiday week. So nobody had to get up real early.

AWRC EXCHANGE STUDENT:

Rose Phillips of the Emmaus RC announced that we will be sponsoring an Exchange student to go out next year.

VOTE FOR AWRC BOARD:

Pres. Gail said that the vote will happen in January.

CASINO NIGHT AT THE WHEELS MUSEUM:

We still are proceeding with the date of January 29th. We continue to seek sponsors.

Please register and invite family and guests. We still need more sponsors.

DISTRICT CONFERENCE:

Please consider attending this great event in April 2022 at the Hersey Lodge.

Save $50 by registering before January 15, 2022.

STATUS OF MORNING MEETINGS:

NEXT MORNING MEETING:

Wednesday January 5 via Zoom starting at 7:30 a.m. Come on at 7:15 and chat. Our program will be Gwenn Carr Representing The STEM Leadership Team Update: STEM Youth Explorer Academy (YEA).

MEETING SITE CHANGE:

Our January 12^th in-person meeting will take place at the Parkland Community Library at 4422 Walbert Ave, Allentown.

We will continue our in-person meetings there through March. Stephanie Fenstermacher of the Buttered Crumb will supply some breakfast food.

We need some volunteers to set up a coffee station each time.
